The Denali have been through just as much as the Cullen's have. It's said that their mutual vegetarian diet is what keeps them in close quarters and calling each other extended family, but maybe it's deeper than that. Maybe the Denali Coven and the Cullen Coven are close, because they all know the pain of loss, and the light of adding new and hopeful members to their family. When one water line connects with another, and winds up traversing all the way up to Alaska, the Denali will find that they're no safer from the vengeance of the hunters, than the Cullen's are. What would happen if the most dangerous of their coven got infected, and showed no mercy regarding their gift or blood lust? It's bad enough that Garrett is new to this life style and tempts them all with the idea of succumbing to their real desires, and who's to say that he won't encourage the infected? Will the Cullen Coven and Denali Coven rely on each other once more, or will they be forced to seek outside up, perhaps a supernatural council of some sort?
