Cinderella will loosely be based off the Movie “A Cinderella Story” 

Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy right? Malcolm knows this all too well, when his wife just abandoned him and their beautiful baby girl Ella he swears that he’ll do whatever is necessary to give his daughter the life he never had. But in order to do that, he has needs to make a shady deal with someone from his past. Tyrell. 

Tyrell and Malcolm have always had music in common, growing up they used to be best friends and dreamed of success. As they grew up Tyrell started to hang with the wrong crowd, getting himself into more and more trouble while Malcolm went in the opposite direction. But now they’re older maybe it's time to start dreaming again. Nothing comes free either. Tyrell likes the idea of funding a recording label, between his connections and Malcolm’s talent they’re sure to be one of the hottest labels in Los Angeles. But in order for this to go ahead, Malcolm has to agree to giving Tyrell 50 percent of the company. Its risky especially considering that Tyrell can never stay out of trouble but it's one way to make sure that Ella has the perfect life where she can get everything she wants. … And so ‘Legendary Records’ was born.

As expected Legendary Records was a huge success and within a few years had become one of California’s hottest labels. Artists from every corner of the US wanted to be signed with them. Still Malcolm thought that Ella needed something else … A Mother.

That’s where Fiona comes in, everything Malcolm had wanted his wife to be. She was good with his daughter, she had two girls of her own so he knew that Ella would have sisters she could count on. What he had expected was that Fiona and Tyrell were making a fool of him. 

Malcolm didn’t know that Tyrell was the father of Fiona’s daughters. So when he suddenly gets sick and dies they think they’ve hit the Jackpot. Tyrell gets the business along with the cars, house and all the money that Malcolm left to his family. Since he didn’t have a will Fiona got everything and Ella nothing. They could finally be the perfect family now, much to their dismay .. they got Ella as well.

Ella could never see what her Dad saw in her Step Mom and Step sisters. They were all so mean to her when he wasn’t around. But she wanted him to be happy. Ella was only 10 when her Dad got “Sick” and wasn’t old enough to question any of it. But if she thought things were bad then, she had no idea what was about to come.

Flash forward 7 years.

Ella is now 17 and getting ready to leave school. She dreams of getting as far away from California and the family business as possible. Even though she knows she could fight them on what should be hers, she’s quite content letting Fiona and Tyrell have her Dad’s legacy so long as she never has too see them again. 

In front of the camera’s they look like the perfect, happy family. Fiona even goes as far as being the voice and face of a few well known Charities. The world has watched Fiona and Tyrell “Grieve” Malcolm and eventually fall in love and get married. To the world the “Jacksons” are the perfect family. 

But behind the camera’s it's a whole other story. Ella has made a deal that as long as she abides to keeping up the “Perfect” daughter facade for America they’ll pay for her to attend college as far away from Hollywood as possible. But she’s not that naive, realising she’s still going to have to have her own money she starts a small business tutoring kids in her school; besides, in order to get into a good college, she needs more than just A’s on her report card. 

Nathan is the Captain of the Wildcats; the basketball team for Beverly Hills High School. He’s dating Anastasia; one of Ella’s evil step sisters. Despite being in the same year at school, Ana is the complete opposite of her Stepsister. Not only is she everyone’s favourite of the sisters, she's gorgeous, popular and even the Captain of the cheer-leading squad alongside her twin sister, Drizella. 

Its no surprise when Ella shows up on a Monday to meet her newest student at the Library and it turns out to be none other than Nathan Carter. Annoyed she’s about to walk out when he convinces her that if she doesn’t help him he’s going to be kicked off the Basketball team and there goes any scholarship for Basketball. Without that he has to follow in his dad’s footsteps and study law. Feeling bad, since she knows a little about unfair families. Ella takes a chance; making sure he realises that she she won’t tolerate him in ways others will.

They start to study together every morning in secret; something magical is happening between them, but they both know it can never work. Besides, the first chance Ella has she’s out of here and never looking back. 

Is Nathan willing to go against everything and everyone for Ella? What happens when Ella finally has the chance to show the world the type of family the Jacksons really are .. There’s so much more to Tyrell and Malcolm’s deal than anyone had expected. As the Jackson’s world starts to fall apart will it bring Nathan’s down with it, or is he willing to be the one to help Ella show the world the truth?
