Two years past the storm Elsa created and two years past the fate that had befallen the two Arendelle sisters, time goes on. Their kingdom flourishes. The world moves on. Everything can’t be all good or all bad. Its called: “Regression to the Mean”. Natural disasters happen. It doesn’t take a queen with catastrophic ice wielding powers to tell anyone that.

Ice isn’t the only element that’s powerful, though, and it's proven when heavy rains, hurricane force winds, and days upon days of storms ravage the Southern Isles. Being neighboring countries, Arendelle and the Southern Isles are allies and trade partners. Queen Elsa might’ve denied the Duke of Wesleton trade, but she pardoned Hans’ parents and brothers. One bad egg doesn’t spoil the dozen, and the Southern Isles kingdom seemed reputable.

When the Southern Isles asks for refuge, Arendelle offers it. And isn’t it ironic? After telling Anna no, Elsa moves not only Hans’ brothers into their castles but his parents, too. At first, all is well. There are terms and conditions, however. Southern Isles townspeople are to abide by Arendelle’s laws. The king and queen are guests, and nothing more. And Hans? Hans is permitted asylum, but with rules.

The king and queen were all too approving of sending Hans away, but Elsa refused. Why place him in exile on North Mountain, when he tried to kill Anna and her? In a twisted turn of events, Elsa decides that Prince Hans would fair better right under her thumb. He’s monitored around the clock. The Queen’s Guard posts at his less lustrous chamber door. They follow him when he leaves and reposition when he returns. He’s not so vocal anymore. In fact, he’s not much of anything and he’s definitely not the vengeful man Elsa expects.

What doesn’t Elsa know? What’s going on? Anna and Kristoff don’t have a qualm with the others from the Southern Isles, but Hans? And the twelve brothers, well, some of them are the prime age for marriage. When Elsa’s neighbors propose-- no, almost insist upon-- a wedding to tie the Southern Isles and Arendelle together, what then? Something is amiss, and nothing is as it seems.
